Terms of Use & EULA
Last Updated: 1 June 2026
These Terms of Use and End User License Agreement ("Terms") govern your use of the AppKeel website (`appkeel-site.vercel.app`), pre-release product evaluations, and any application built by AppKeel published on the Atlassian Marketplace.
"By accessing our websites or installing our Atlassian applications, you agree to these Terms. If you are accepting on behalf of an enterprise or employer, you warrant that you hold full authority to bind that entity."
1. Software Licensing & Atlassian Marketplace
Unless stated otherwise in a separate, written enterprise agreement between Gajan Umapathy (doing business as AppKeel) and your organization, all applications are licensed under the standard **Atlassian Marketplace Terms of Service**.
Installing our applications from the Atlassian Marketplace establishes a direct sub-license under those terms, granting your organization a non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to execute the app natively within your configured Atlassian Cloud instance.
2. Pre-Release, Beta, and In-Development Versions
Some AppKeel applications, tools, or website documentation may describe products that are marked as "Beta", "Pre-Release", or "Coming Soon".
These features are provided for assessment, influence, and evaluation purposes:
- "As-Is" Provision: All pre-release features and evaluations are provided strictly on an **"As-Is" and "As-Available"** basis, without warranties or service level commitments of any kind.
- Dynamic Roadmaps: AppKeel reserves the sole right to alter, delay, withdraw, or adjust product features, pricing matrices, and commercial release dates without liability or prior warning.
- Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, AppKeel disclaims all liability for any operational downtime, lost data, or business disruption arising from the evaluation of beta tools.
3. Intellectual Property
The website structure, code contents, graphics, design assets, and app source codes are the exclusive property of Gajan Umapathy / AppKeel.
You may not reverse-engineer, modify, duplicate, scrape, or extract any portion of our website or application logic. The trademarks "Jira", "Confluence", "Atlassian", and "Forge" are proprietary trademarks of Atlassian Pty Ltd and are used strictly for compatibility identification.
4. Support Portal & Security
Support, feedback submission, and general enquiries are conducted strictly through our secure **Jira Service Management (JSM) Portal**.
- We do not encourage or prioritize support requests via unencrypted emails. This protects your enterprise from security spoofing and ensures all inquiries are securely tracked inside Atlassian Cloud.
- We reserve the right to close spam, offensive, or malicious tickets raised inside our support channels.
5. Governing Law
These Terms and any dispute arising from your use of AppKeel software shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction of the founder's primary residence, without regard to conflict of law principles.
